Making a start on Spring land work

The unseasonably dry weather of the past months has meant we have been getting on well with the land work for our Spring crops. We have been very impressed with the Horsch Joker which has been kindly lent to us by CLAAS Eastern It has done a great job of chopping up cover crop residue and the press leaves a great finish. The plan is to get the drill going on beans and spring barley on our land with low grass weed pressure.
